Xin Wang has established herself as one of the leading pianists from Inner Mongolia, China, despite her young age. She came into the public eye when she won a special prize at the National Piano Competition in China at the age of seven and has since given numerous piano concerts and recitals in concert halls across China. She studied under Jolio Largacha and Gabriel Rosenberg in Cologne and Nuremberg and received a scholarship from the DAAD during her studies.
Xin Wang has won numerous honors and prizes, including the piano competitions in Lengano, Italy, and Bettona, Italy, among others. She is a welcome guest at renowned concert venues across Europe and Asia, such as the Berliner Philharmonie, Schloss Elmau in Germany, Qintai Concert Hall in Wuhan, Concert Hall in Xiamen, Henan Art Center in Zhengzhou, Concert Hall in Ningbo, and Poly Grand Theatre in Hohhot.
As a soloist, Xin Wang has appeared with many distinguished orchestras, including the Wuhan Philharmonic Orchestra, Sinfonieorchester Aachen, Kammerphilharmonie St. Petersburg, Zagreb Soloists, and Berliner Camerata, under the direction of renowned conductors like Kazem Abdullah, Christopher Ward, James P. Liu, Juri Gilbo, Eduardo Strausser, and Fuad Ibrahimov.
She regularly performs at international festivals, such as the Skrjabin Piano Festival in Grosseto, Italy; Piano Festival “federi musica” in Naples, Italy; International Piano Festival in Salerno, Italy; “IBLA Classic” in Sicily, Italy; Piano Festival in Orbetello, Italy; „Friday Nights with Yury Revich“ in Vienna, Austria; International Art Festival in Kotor, Montenegro; International Music Festival Deià in Spain; Festival „Palau March Museu“ in Palma, Spain; „Festival de musique classique à Pompignan“ in Toulouse, France; Palais Sommer in Dresden, Germany; “Monschau Klassik” in Germany; and the “International Piano Festival Wuhan” in China, among others.
As a passionate chamber musician, she frequently collaborates with colleagues such as Echo Klassik prize-winner Yury Revich and Alexandre Debrus in China and Europe. Xin Wang is the founder and artistic director of the International Piano Festival in Geilenkirchen, Germany, and serves as the jury president for the international piano competition “Euregio Piano Award.” She is often invited as a jury member at international piano competitions, including Campillos, Spain; the “Isidor Bajic Piano Memorial Competition“ in Novi Sad, Serbia; “Neue Sterne” in Wernigerode, Germany; “Mauro Paolo Monopoli Prize“ in Barletta, Italy; “Notes in Harmony“ in Bettona, Italy; “Academy Award“ in Rome, Italy; and the Asian Youth International Piano Competition in Hong Kong, among others.
Since 2012, she has been a guest professor at several music universities in China and has conducted master classes in both China and Germany with esteemed teachers from prominent European music universities.
